Now we can take a small break after the harvest, so we would like to share our experience with you on 2020 harvest.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year\u2019s harvest university student\u00a0<strong>M\u00e1t\u00e9 Bakos<\/strong>\u00a0also played a significant role in the preparation and harvest works, which often means 16 hours work a day. We asked\u00a0<strong>Ferenc Knolmajer<\/strong>, the manager of the professional work in the Csob\u00e1nc estate about the harvesting experience.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe closed a good year, the weather was good for us all year round and also at harvest time. We were able to harvest healthy grape bunches in beautiful sunshine and pleasant weather conditions\u201d \u2013 said the Winemaker of Bakos Winery.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized is-style-default\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-224050\" src=\"https:\/\/bakospinceszet.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/szuret-web2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"623\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe are satisfied with both the quantity and quality of the crop. We started with Sz\u00fcrkebar\u00e1t (Pinot gris) grape variety on September 19th, followed by other varieties, which we harvested at full maturity, traditionally by hand. Our self-planted Furmint and Pinot Blanc and the \u2018inherited\u2019 grape varieties like Pinot gris and Welschriesling, also feel good in this wonderful terroir. The lesson of the harvest for us is that processing technology and its efficiency will be a priority area for us in the future. \u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Work continues in the cellar and we look forward to the first wines of the 2020 vintage!<\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Harvest is the most important period in the life of a winery with a lot of organization, work and logistics.
